woohoo. wad a fun weekend i had. lets try recalling everything from saturday onwards.
met with gladys to go buy wayne's birthday present. supposedly there were supposed to be more ppl to come along but everyone seem to have other things on. but anyways, chop chop we settled on a watch and she had the responsiblity of delivering it to pasir ris to wayne.
met up with s14 people at fish and co to have lunch. talked about mainly army life and catching up with one another. ended up in a lan shop soon to relive those days of dota as one class. haven been playing dota for quite some time ever since i started doing camps. went shopping for clothes after that and slacked at food republic. man the hokkien mee there sucks la. i dunno why everyone always queue so long for it. kinda missed those times our class just slacked together.
sunday met up with el people to go play lan again. haha kinda to celebrate alan and benny's book out day! alan's hand full of sand fly bites la. okie i think i better start training myself for army. and to mentally prepare myself. but its like they sleep more during their camps than during my camp la! those little kids super active one. dunno 4am 5am wake up make noise. sleep at 2am wake up at 4am.
after that went to listen to something like a job talk at raffles there. kinda interesting. haha. had dinner at lau pa sha later. as much as i know lau pa sha is a famous place in singapore, it doesn't seem to be bustling with activity inside as i expected, other than the barrage of satay stalls outside.
TODAY WAS FUN!!! haha we instructors went to pulau ubin. WAHAHA and the funny thing was willie was spreading the word around that you have to bring passport there cos need to check. HAHA and jaslyn believed and helped him sms everyone. i distinctly remembered during my many trips to ubin last time no pass port was needed but i just brought just in case thanks to weijin. then in the end we managed to convince sophia that need passport otherwise cannot go ubin. then she like almost wanted to take cab home to take passport!
anyways we cycled for quite a long time around ubin, upslope downslope inside jungle and on main road, to beaches and everywhere. quite tiring but fun! then we trekked into the quarry and took pics everywhere haha. i think us instructors are photoholics. go where also must take pics de. but we had injuries and tons of incidents where the bicycle chains come loose.
instructors took bus ride and train to cine. my gosh. we were cheering all the way there la! okie maybe not me. i could tell there were people of the public getting irritated. we were like shouting in the mrt la. when it was packed with people. wah liews. but nvm watch them also quite entertaining. only the young people found us entertaining. i think the adults a bit irritated. went to play pool after that. was kinda fun instructor outing! although i didn't contribute by cheering in the big public cos i too paiseh to do so.
